An independent press,
two imprints, one standard.
Koo Media Publishing builds books for two very different reading communities, both held to the same editorial care. Slow editing. Considered design. None of the marketing-first shortcuts.
We started Koo Media because we wanted to publish books we'd be proud to put on our own shelves — work for children that families return to year after year, and unflinching work for adults that doesn't pull its punches.
Both imprints sit under one roof, but each speaks to its own readers in its own voice. We don't mix them.

We don't chase trends. We publish slowly because every book gets the editorial pass, the cover treatment, and the launch attention it deserves — even when that means two titles a year instead of twelve.
If you found us through a single book and you're wondering what else we make: start with the catalog or read about the authors we work with.
